The high school student Wendy (played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead) goes to the amusement park with her friends to celebrate graduation, and they have a great time. The park is brightly lit but full of eerie occurrences. As they sit on the roller coaster, Wendy suddenly sees strange phenomena and feels terrified. Her boyfriend Jason comforts her, saying it’s just an illusion. The roller coaster starts, but suddenly derails in mid-air, leaving everyone hanging upside down. Wendy watches as her friends fall to their deaths one by one, and she cannot escape her fate.
Wendy wakes up from the illusion, shouted by a classmate, and realizes that what she just experienced was just an illusion. However, she is deeply worried and tries to persuade everyone to leave the roller coaster. Although she is mocked by everyone, it turns out to be the right choice. The roller coaster has an accident just as Wendy saw.
However, the young men and women who escaped the disaster have not escaped the grasp of death. They die one after another. Wendy finds that all of this is related to a photo taken at the amusement park. In order to survive, she begins to fight with death.
