The film “The Nameless One” is a documentary that presents the daily struggles of a solitary man against the hardships of life. He has distanced himself from rural and urban life, living alone in a cave, much like a British Robinson Crusoe. He has no hope, or rather, his hope is simply to harvest a few more corn kernels and to reinforce the earthen walls of his cave with the mud after the rain. To onlookers, he is a being of despair, but for him, it only means simple survival.
